Tension Headaches & Migraines

Many headaches are linked to neck and shoulder tension. Hands on care, posture work and exercise may help reduce how often they happen.

Understanding the concern

About Tension Headaches & Migraines concerns

Tension type headaches often feel like a band of pressure around the head and can be linked to neck and shoulder tension, long hours at a screen and stress. Some headaches start in the neck itself, while migraines have their own pattern and triggers.

Care may include gentle neck treatment, massage therapy, posture and workstation changes and exercises to build endurance in the neck and upper back. We work alongside your physician, especially when migraines are part of the picture.
