Springdale offers direct billing to most insurance companies, and supports patients with extended health benefits, WSIB claims and motor vehicle accident rehabilitation.
Please note: insurance eligibility varies by individual plan. We can’t guarantee coverage, so we recommend confirming your benefits with your provider before your visit. Our front desk is happy to help you work out what to ask.
Extended Health Care (EHC)
Many workplace and private extended health plans include coverage for physiotherapy, chiropractic care and registered massage therapy, and some include osteopathy, acupuncture, orthotics or bracing.
Springdale offers direct billing to most insurance companies, so in many cases we can submit your claim for you and you pay only any portion your plan does not cover.
What to check with your plan
- Which services are covered, and the annual maximum for each
- Whether a doctor’s referral or prescription is required
- Any limits per visit or any co payment
- Whether you have coverage through a spouse or second plan
WSIB (workplace injuries)
If you were injured at work in Ontario, treatment may be supported through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) once your claim is in place.
Make sure your employer is aware of the injury, and bring your claim number and any documentation to your first visit. Our team can explain how treatment typically fits with your claim.

Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)
In Ontario, rehabilitation after a car accident is often supported through the accident benefits portion of your auto insurance policy.
Please be assessed by a physician after any collision. Then contact your auto insurer to open a claim, and bring your claim details to Springdale. We’ll explain what information your insurer may request.

- Auto insurance company and policy number
