Getting started
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Most people can book physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy and osteopathy directly in Ontario without a referral. Some insurance plans require a referral or prescription for reimbursement, so check your plan details.
Which service should I book?
If you are unsure, try the Springdale Care Navigator or call us at (905) 463-9972. Our team can help you decide where to start, and your practitioner may suggest other services after your assessment.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your insurance details, a list of current medications, any relevant reports or imaging, and comfortable clothing you can move in.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, flexible clothing such as athletic wear. For massage therapy you undress only to your comfort level and remain draped throughout.
Insurance & billing
Do you offer direct billing?
Yes. Springdale offers direct billing to most insurance companies. Coverage depends on your individual plan.
How do I know what my plan covers?
Check your benefits booklet or online portal, or call your provider. Our front desk can also help you understand what information to look for.
Do you work with WSIB and motor vehicle accident claims?
Yes, we provide rehabilitation for workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents. Contact us and we will explain what information to bring.
During your care
Can I combine different services?
Yes. Many people benefit from a combination, such as physiotherapy with massage therapy. Your practitioners can coordinate your plan.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. You are welcome to bring a family member or support person to your appointment.
What if I need to cancel?
Please contact us as early as possible so we can offer the time to another patient. Ask our team about the current cancellation policy.
Safety & privacy
Is the Care Navigator a diagnosis?
No. The Care Navigator only suggests which Springdale services may be worth discussing. It does not diagnose, and it is not for emergencies.
How is my personal information handled?
We collect only what is needed to respond to you and schedule care.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not use online forms for urgent or emergency concerns.
Feel stronger. Move freely. Live fully.
Take the next step toward better movement, recovery and everyday wellness.
