Overview

About Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care looks at the relationship between the spine, joints, muscles and nervous system. It is commonly used for back and neck discomfort, headaches associated with neck tension and joint stiffness.

Care is individualized. Based on your assessment, treatment may include joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, therapeutic stretching and mobility exercises. Spinal or joint manipulation is used only where appropriate and with your consent. Not every patient receives it, every technique is explained first, and you can always choose a gentler option.

Frequently asked questions

Is chiropractic adjustment the only treatment option?

No. Adjustments are one option among several. Mobilization, soft tissue therapy and exercise are also available, and you can always ask for a gentler approach.

Is the popping sound a concern?

The sound sometimes heard during an adjustment is typically gas releasing from the joint. It is not a measure of whether a treatment worked, and it does not always happen.

Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?

Many extended health plans include chiropractic care. Coverage limits vary, so check your plan or ask our team to help.

Physiotherapy

Restore movement, ease discomfort and get back to doing what you love.

Osteopathy

A gentle, hands on approach that looks at how your whole body moves.

Custom Orthotics

Custom made foot supports based on an assessment of how you stand and move.
