TENS Machines

A small, portable device that delivers mild electrical impulses. Our team gives you practical guidance on how to use it.

Overview

About TENS Machines

TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. A TENS machine is a small, portable device that delivers mild electrical impulses through electrodes placed on the skin.

TENS may be used as part of a care plan for the temporary management of pain or discomfort. It does not treat the underlying cause, and it works best alongside active care such as exercise and physiotherapy.
