Infrared & Red Light Therapy Sauna

A warm, noninvasive wellness experience in a private sauna, combining infrared warmth with a red light feature to complement your recovery and wellness routine.

Overview

About Infrared & Red Light Therapy Sauna

Infrared and red light therapy deliver specific wavelengths of visible red and infrared light as part of a noninvasive wellness experience. Our private sauna combines both: infrared for comfortable, enveloping warmth, and a red light mode that can be used where appropriate.

Springdale’s sauna is an Advanced Clearlight infrared and red light therapy sauna. Sessions are a wellness service, not a medical treatment, and they are not suitable for everyone, so we review your health history first.

Red light

Visible red wavelengths interact primarily with tissues closer to the surface of the body. Red light is commonly used in wellness settings related to skin and tissue wellness.

Infrared

Infrared uses longer wavelengths and produces warmth. Infrared therapy may support relaxation and comfort in areas experiencing muscle tension or stiffness.

Frequently asked questions

Who should avoid infrared or red light sessions?

Sessions are generally not recommended during pregnancy, for people with certain heart conditions, low blood pressure, heat sensitivity or light sensitivity, or after alcohol. Some medications increase sensitivity to heat or light. Check with your physician if you are unsure.

Is it the same as a traditional sauna?

Infrared warms you directly rather than heating the air to high temperatures, so many people find it more comfortable. The red light feature adds visible red wavelengths as part of the experience.

Physiotherapy

Restore movement, ease discomfort and get back to doing what you love.
