Carpal Tunnel & Wrist Pain

Carpal tunnel symptoms often build up with repeated hand use. Physiotherapy, splinting advice and activity changes may help ease them.

Understanding the concern

About Carpal Tunnel & Wrist Pain concerns

Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when the median nerve is compressed as it passes through the wrist. It often causes tingling or numbness in the thumb, index and middle fingers, especially at night or after repetitive tasks.

Care may include nerve and tendon gliding exercises, wrist bracing for sleep, workstation and task changes, and hands on treatment for the forearm and wrist. We will let you know if a physician review would be helpful.
